Richard Marinus, also known as OFF Record, is a Dutch music and video producer and DJ based in the center of the Netherlands. He has been active since the early 1980s and is a prominent figure in the (Nu) Disco, Boogie, Electro, Funk, Hip-Hop, New Jack Swing, and Soul scenes. He is the co-founder and co-owner of Disco Sparks, where he creates Nu-Disco, Nu-Boogie, and Soul/Funk/Disco tracks and remixes, with successful releases on Nightspot Recordings, Midnight Riot Recordings, and Z Records. He is also the co-founder and co-owner of Groove Inc., the creators of the Oldskool at the Beach party series, which has been running since 2003, and a regular performer at top venues and festivals in the Netherlands and several in Europe, such as ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) and Baltic Soul Weekender. Richard is a mix DJ for various radio stations worldwide with the weekly mix show IMIMI - Ibiza Mirror Mind: on Sam Ibiza, Starguardz, Yoursafe Radio, Dance Radio Amsterdam and Soultrack Radio. He delivers the weekly 3InThe Mix on the radio show Sublime Classics, presented by Wouter van der Goes, with 3 tracks from the Sublime Nu-Disco Top 10 in the mix!
